Top Three Foods For Skin That Glows

Everyone wants an easy way to maintain a youthful glow. Billions of dollars are spent on cosmetic treatments, cosmetics and makeup, medical wrinkle creams and such - when there are some daily things we can and should be doing that will contribute greatly to radiant skin. Of course, the first thing we should be doing - is drinking a lot of water. But you already knew that! What could you be EATING that will specifically support great skin as a part of your skin care?

There are tons of articles out there on dermatologists' top tips to healthy skin. We've scoured the web and found three that are so reasonable, you could include them several times a week in your diet and enjoy every minute of it.

Fab Food Number 1: Viva la Guacamole! Avocados are the creamy, green fruit used in your favorite dip at your local Mexican food restaurant. Avocados are packed with those necessary essential oils and B-complex vitamins, as well as Niacin (vitamin B3). These B-complex vitamins and essential oils truly nourish the skin, and the Niacin acts as a great anti-inflammatory.

Fab Food Number 2: Snack on some almonds! Almonds contain a whopping 150% of daily vitamin E - which is a proven rich oil that is known to moisturize skin. Vitamin E has been used for years as a rich moisturizer and antioxidant.

Fab Food Number 3: Trade the fries for a baked potato!Copper is a huge benefit to youthful skin as it produces elastin fibers when it's combined with vitamin C and zinc (you ARE taking a multi, right?) and that keeps your skin supple and taut and helps support the healing process of your skin. One baked potato provides 75% of your daily copper requirement.
